Sunflower

Sunflower is the most important annual oil-bearing and melliferous plant of the compositae family up to 2-3 m high. Sunflower, perhaps, one of the most famous and beloved in Ukraine, is cultivated mainly for oilseeds. It is also used as a feed crop for preparing silage. Sunflower is grown on home gardens and cottages for the sake of tasty and healthy seeds.
