Instructions for use, consumption rate and top dressing with potassium humate
Potassium humate is a modern universal remedy for fertilizing the soil, feeding crops in order to protect them from parasites and generally increase productivity. Being a product of processing organic raw materials, potassium humate is absolutely safe for human health, plants and the environment as a whole.
Due to its qualities, potassium humate is actively used both in private gardening and horticulture, and in large agricultural enterprises. Among the advantages of this fertilizer are:
- increasing the germination and germination rate of seeds of most agricultural crops, as well as stimulating their growth and development;
- an increase in the level of resistance to the negative influence of the external environment - temperature extremes, pathogens, insects, etc.;
- restoration and preservation of the fertile qualities of the soil for a long period of time.
Use of potassium humate
Due to its versatility, potassium humate can be used at all stages of growing crops, in particular:
- pre-sowing treatment of seeds - is carried out for grain, oil, vegetable, chestnut, ornamental and other crops within half an hour. In this case, the fertilizer can be used in combination with other plant protection products;
- foliar top dressing of crops - is carried out in accordance with the standards specified in the instructions for a particular preparation. It is advisable to use potassium humate for top dressing in combination with mineral fertilizers (this helps to reduce their consumption by 20-30%), as well as when treating plants with pesticides as an anti-stress drug;
- root top dressing - can be carried out as an application to the soil 10-12 days before planting or during their cultivation in combination with other means of protection.
Fertilization rates potassium humate + phosphorus
The specific application rates for potassium humate depend on the stage of growing crops, as well as their type:
- grain crops - at the stage of seed treatment, the consumption rate is from 0.5 to 1.2 liters of fertilizer per 1 ton of seed. In the flowering phase, the recommended rate is 0.3 liters per 1 ha of cultivated area;
- potatoes - 1 l / ton for pre-sowing treatment and 0.3 liters per 1 hectare for top dressing;
- tomatoes - 0.1 l per 1 kg of seeds before they are introduced into the soil and 0.3 liters per 1 ha 15 days after germination.
